Directions on Making Cold Coffee Brewing
Step 1: measure out your ingredients. Start your cold coffee brewing by measuring out 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee beans, you can take less or more depends on how strong or mild you want your coffee to be.
Step 2: Get a container or a large jar, combine both your 4 cups of cold water and measured out coffee beans together in the jar or container and stir properly until well combined to ensure that the coffee beans are well saturated. You can also adjust the mildness or strength of the coffee. You can decide to add more coffee or add more water. Just make it how you would enjoy it best.
Step 3: Cover the container or jar where you mixed the coffee and cold water and refrigerate it for about 12 hours more or less depending on the mildness or strength of the flavor you’re going for.
Step 4: After 12 hours or more time of refrigerating, take out your container or jar and sieve it out with a fine sieve or a coffee filter to remove the coffee grounds. Remember to strain it out in another container or jar for storage. After sieving it out and you notice more particles on the brewed coffee, feel free to strain it for the second time to achieve a more smother feel.
Step 5: That’s it! Your cold brewed coffee is ready to be served. While serving, you can dilute it with water, or you notice that the coffee is too strong for you or you can add sweeteners like sugar or milk or any other flavorings like vanilla extract, cinnamon or any of your favorite flavored syrup to add a sweet taste to your coffee. Don’t forget to serve with some ice cubes to add the “cold” in the cold coffee.
