We would be showing you different baking recipes you can make with apples, and I ensure you, they would be worth it.
1. Apple Pie
If you have been searching for a good and perfect apple pie, I would like to announce to you that your search has finally come to an end.
I love pies, mostly one made with apples, so I have to ensure that this recipe is perfect. Apple pie is a top classical dessert. Its yummy, with a nice flavor, buttery, with an amazing filing.
Ingredients:
For Crust
- 2-3 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon of sugar
- 3 tablespoon of butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
- A Pinch of salt
For The Apple Filling:
- 8 large apples, such as Granny Smith, Gala, McIntosh or Honeycrisp, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 2-3 tablespoon of flour
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon of unsalted butter, cut into thin pieces
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract(optional)
Directions:
For Crust
- In a separate bowl, pour in your flour, sugar, and salt together and combine.
- Add your butter and mix thoroughly with hands, or a wooden spoon, dough mixer, or a food processor. Then add in little water one at a time until you see dough coming together. You know the dough is ready when you see it damp and not sticky.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into thinly pieces. Then flatten the dough into disk.
- Wrap the dough in a plastic bag and set aside, you can refrigerate it overnight or keep in a cool environment.
- Roll a dough into a circle form on a lightly floured surface, and place the dough into a pie dish pan. Raise the edges of the dough and allow dough to stretch into the dish.
For The Filling:
- In another separate bowl, toss in the apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt, then combine them thoroughly.
- Move the apple filling to the pie dish
- Preheat the oven to 430º and place a large baking sheet on rack.
- Roll out the remaining disk of dough and place the dough over the filling. Trim and fold the excess dough from under the crust, and ruffle the edges of the crust.
- In a small bowl, combine your egg with water, and brush the dough with egg mixture.
- Set the pie dish on the preheated sheet and bake for about 20-25minutes.
2. Easy Candy Apples
In the fall season, which is autumn period, there is no better treat and dessert to be enjoyed like the candy apples. They are very delicious and fun to have with friends and family.
Candy apples are mostly loved and enjoyed by kids because the bright with an attractive color, the taste, and generally because children loves candy.
One thing about this dessert is that it can be colored to any shade you prefer.
Ingredients:
- 6-8 medium apples
- 2-3 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
- 1/2 cup of water
- 6-8 lollipop or popsicle sticks
- Candy thermometer
Directions:
- Insert the lollipop or popsicle sticks into the apples halfway through so that they are strongly positioned.
- Line a cooking/baking sheet with parchment paper and grease with cooking spray, then set the apples aside.
- In medium pot or saucepan, add the sugar, corn syrup, food coloring, and water over medium heat.
- Insert a candy thermometer and continue boiling for about 10-20 minutes until the candy thermometer reaches at 300-310ºF, then remove from heat and allow to rest and cool for few minutes.
- Swiftly and carefully, dip an apple into the sugar syrup, and transfer the coated apples on the prepared baking sheet to cool before serving.

3. Apple Pie Cookies
I refer to the apple pie cookies as the the mini version of an apple pie. These cookies are chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
Apple pie cookies are another go to dessert and treats for the fall season, it is delicious and filled with apple pie fillings and spices.
I prefer making an apple pie cookie than the actually pie because, its less time consuming and I don’t need so many apples to make an apple pie cookie unlike that of the apple pie.
Ingredients:
For the apple filling
- 2-3 medium sized apples, peeled and sliced.
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
For the cookie crust
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 2-3 cups of all purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
Directions:
Apple Filling
- In a bowl, add your sliced apples, lemon juice, brown sugar, spices and water, and thoroughly mix them together.
- Over medium heat in a large skillet, pour in the apple mixture and stir occasionally for about 5-8 minutes until mixture simmers and apples are tender.
Cookie Crust
- Preheat your oven to 300º F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a mixing bowl and set aside.
- In another separate bowl combine the butter and sugar and beat for about 2-3 minutes with a food processor, and 5 minutes if you are mixing manually, until the mixture because lighter in color and fluffy.
- When you get a fluffy texture, add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk for about 30 seconds or more.
- Mix the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and carefully combine them together. You can do this with your hands, food processor, or spatula.
- Make a ball sized cookie dough and smoothen the dough with your hands or roll the dough round and use a cookie cutter to cut out the cookies.
- Then bake the cookies for 10-15 minutes.
- Bring your cookies out and add the filling. Do this by using a back of a spoon or flat surface to make a dip at the center of each cookie.
- Then add a tablespoon of the filling to each of the cookie and transfer back to the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
- After baking, set aside the cookies on a rack to cool for about 10 minutes on the baking sheet then give it a finish touch with caramel sauce added to it.
4. Apple Cider Donuts
Donuts are a absolute go to treats or snacks. Everyone loves a good donut because of how fluffy, easy to make, soft texture and delicious they can be, and apple cider donut is not an exception.
Apple cider donuts is a classic snack and treat that is not only fluffy and tasty like other type of donuts but its also packed with lots of apple flavor.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of apple cider
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 6 tbsp1. of unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice(optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F
- In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the apple cider to a boil. let it simmer and boil properly until the apple cider is reduced to 1/2 cup, this would take about 15-25 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, pour in the flour, baking powder, salt, apple pie spice, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, add the butter, brown and white sugar, vanilla extract, and egg then whisk properly
- Pour in the butter mixture into cooled apple cider.
- Then add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and combined until you get a slightly thick batter. Refrigerate or cover with a dry surface for about an hour or more until it becomes firm.
- For Frying: Roll the firm dough on a floured surface. Use a doughnut cutter to cut out the doughnut shapes. Place doughnuts onto baking sheets and cover with a kitchen towel. Heat oil in a deep fryer or Dutch oven until it becomes golden and crispy.
- For Baking: Spray donut pan with non-stick spray and scoop or pipe the batter into the donut pans. Bake the oven for about 15 minutes until the top becomes brown and golden. When its ready, bring it and let it cool.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together for the topping and throw in the donuts inside the mixture to coat. Then serve

This dessert is perfect if you looking for something portable, buttery, chewy inside and crispy on the outside, and overall delicious.
You still get a bonus with this treat by maintaining its apple pie taste and flavor. You might enjoy this dessert better than traditional apple pie.
Ingredients:
For The Crust
- 4 sticks of butter
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 3/4 light brown sugar
- 3 cups of all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp of kosher salt
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
For The Apple Filling
- 6 medium/large sized apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon apple cider(optional)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 3 sticks butter, melted
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Spray your cooking spray on a 9 x 13 inch baking pan and line the baking pan with parchment paper.
- Add the sugars, butter, and vanilla in a mixing bowl and beat for about 3-5 minutes until combined properly and it becomes fluffy and airy.
- Sieve your flour and add with salt to the bowl, and mix until its properly combined.
- Press the mixture carefully into a prepared pan about 1/2” up sides. You can refrigerate for about 15 minutes before baking or you can just go straight ahead and bake for about 20 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
- In a separate bowl, throw in your apples, lemon juice, apple cider, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Carefully spread the apples evenly over the crust.
- You can also spread your topping if you are using any, and bake for about 30-45 minutes until the top becomes golden and apples tender.
- After baking, set it aside to cool and then slice into squares and sprinkle with caramel or any other topping sauce of your choice before you serve.
6. Apple Tart
Apple Tart is super easy to make and amazingly tasty as well. This dessert is very appeasing to the eyes and loaded with much apples.
Ingredients:
For The Pastry
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 10 tablespoon of butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
For The Filling
- 6 apples peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Melted apricot
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a separate bowl, pour in your vanilla extract, lemon juice, apples, and brown sugar.
- In another large bowl, combine your sugar, salt, cinnamon, and flour together.
- Add the melted butter to the flour mixture and mix until dough forms.
- Press the dough mixture into a 10” tart pan until dough is smooth.
- Carefully place the apples over crust and dust with some sugar and a little bit of butter.
- Bake for about 45minutes until crust is golden and apples edges are brown and tender.
7. Apple Crostata
If you are a dessert lover, you need to try this Italian treat. You love apple pie and you want something different and switched from the traditional apple pie, then, this is a dessert to try.
Ingredients:
Crust
- 11/2 cup of all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp of granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp of kosher salt
- A stick of unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp of water
Filling
- 4 large apples
- 1/2 tsp of orange zest, grated
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp of flour or cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, diced
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Mix the flour, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl and combine. You can do this manually or with a mixer or food processor.
- Add the butter to the flour and mix thoroughly until the butter is properly combine with the flour. Gradually add water one at a time and combine.
- When the dough becomes solid, transfer to a plastic bag and set aside or refrigerate.
- After refrigerating the dough for about an hour, take it out of the bag to a floured flat surface and roll the dough into an 11-inch circle then transfer it to a baking sheet.
- Combine the apples, flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, butter, and orange zest in the bowl and mix. Spread the apples evenly and carefully fold the border and edges over the apples to enclose the dough.
- Put the crostata in the oven and bake the crostata for about 20 minutes, until it is golden and the apples are tender.
8. Apple Fritters
If you enjoy fritters, then am sure you would love this apple version. Apple Fritters are crispy, delicious, and very easy and quick to make. This dessert can be enjoyed as breakfast and brunch.
Ingredients:
For The Fritters
- 3 large apples, peeled and sliced/diced
- 11/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Vegetable oil for frying
For The Glaze
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of milk
Directions:
- In large bowl mix the dry ingredients such as the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another separate bowl mix the wet ingredients such as the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter
- Carefully mix the dry into the wet ingredients and combine properly, then add in your apples and mix all together.
- Add about 3-4 cups of vegetable oil to a frying pan and let it heat, when it simmers and sizzles, then you know its ready.
- Use a tablespoon or measuring cup to scoop the batter into the hot oil to fry. When you see the bottom becomes brown, you then flip over to enable the other side fry well.
- For the glaze: Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract and spread it over the cooled fritters, then serve.
9. Homemade Apple Cider
Apple cider have so many nutritional and health benefits associated with it. This homemade apple cider is very fresh, has an amazing aroma and delicious like nothing you’ve ever tried before.
Ingredients:
- 10 large apples, quartered
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 1 teaspoon whole allspice
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 whole nutmeg
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 orange, halved
Directions:
- In a large pot over medium heat, combine the orange, spices, brown sugar, and apples. Add water and boil it for about an hour, uncovered.
- Take the pot away from heat and remove the orange halves. Use wooden spoon to mash the apples then transfer it back to heat and allow it simmer uncovered for about an hour more.
- Drain substance through a sieve, use the wooden spoon to press harder on solids to bring out more juice, then trash the solids, then serve.
10. Caramel Apple Cake
Cakes are enjoyed by everyone, whether old or young because of how fluffy, moist, rich and tasty they are. If a normal plain cake is very delicious then you could imagine what this cake would taste like.
The caramel apple cake is an absolute delight. A cake infused with apples and its flavor, with a touch of caramel would make any stressful day worth it.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 6 tablespoon of butter
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease your baking pan and line with parchment
- In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients such as the flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and set aside.
- In a separate mixing bowl, mix the eggs, brown sugar, butter, vanilla extra and milk until it becomes light and creamy for about 2 minutes.
- Add the apples to the mixture. Then add the dry ingredients to the wet, then mix until its properly combined.
- Transfer the batter into a baking pan and spread the caramel sauce and any other toppings of your choice over the batter.
- Bake for about 45 minutes until it turns golden brown.
- When its ready, take it out of the oven and let it cool on a rack for about 30 minutes.
